BABCP Accredited CBT Therapist

Ever since I was young, I knew I wanted to get into a career path that would make a difference in people’s lives. This interest led me to study Psychology & Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

I am an experienced accredited BABCP Therapist with over 20 years' experience working in the field of Mental Health. I completed my specilaist CBT training at the Institute of Psychiatry in Kings College London in 2010. Since then I have specialised in the provision of CBT for depression and anxiety disorders including: PTSD, OCD, Health Anxiety, GAD, Panic Disorder, BDD, Social Anxiety, Emetophobia, Specific Phobias, Behavioural Couples Therapy, Low Self Esteem and Perfectionism. I have worked with a variety of client groups from adolescent to elderly including one-to-one, couples and group contexts and I have delivered therapy both face to face and online utilising audio/visual and text-based platforms.
I am also an experienced CBT Supervisor and Trainer working in a number of UK universities as academic and supervision lead. I am passionate about patient’s being able to access psychological support in a forum they feel comfortable and to receive the best care possible.
